From an early age, we learn that education provides the foundations for our life choices. Domingas, a black woman and teacher during the "years of lead," chose to teach in the newly founded capital of the country - Brasília. To achieve her goal, she couldn't rely on beginner's luck. It was necessary to understand the strategy used in the power game, on the political chessboard in a conservative society.
